TULSA, Oklahoma -- A clerk at an East Tulsa convenience store exchanged gunfire with a robber shortly before noon Wednesday.

Tulsa Police say a black male wearing baggy pants, a blue hooded sweatshirt and a bandana over his face entered Ryan's Convenience Store on 21st Street at 101 East Avenue.

They say when the robber pulled his gun, the clerk pulled one, too.

Both people fired shots and the robber ran outside and into a neighborhood south of the store.

Police believe the robber may have been hit by one of the gunshots because officers spotted a blood trail leaving the store.

Tulsa Police say another armed robbery at a business in the 12600 block of East 31st about a mile away may be related.

Officers are still looking for the robber or robbers.
