TULSA, Oklahoma -- Thanks to a phone left behind at a crime scene early Thursday morning, it didn't take Tulsa Police long to arrest three male juvenile suspects.

It all started just before 3 a.m. at the Midtown Village Shopping Center in the 5900 block of East Skelly Drive.

A business owner called police after he discovered someone had broken into his store in the shopping center.

While Tulsa Police were investigating, they found evidence someone had tried to start a fire so they called in Tulsa Fire.

Officers also found a phone at the scene.

While that investigation was beginning, a police officer saw smoke coming from Hoyle's Yellow Pages at Skelly and Houston.

Firefighters entered the business and found several small fires which they quickly extinguished.

Police used the phone found at the first scene to identify the three juveniles believed to be involved and tracked them down at a nearby apartment complex.

All three were taken into custody.
