CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A Creek County wildfire burning near Heyburn Lake is threatening about 30 homes, according to the state Department of Emergency Management.
Helicopters have been called in and Kellyville Fire has requested mutual aid from Sapulpa.
So far, the fire has burned more than a dozen acres.
Authorities had predicted Sunday would be one of the worst days for wildfire potential in years, but the Department of Emergency Management reported only four notable fires, including the Creek County fire.
