Argument Leads To Tulsa Stabbing Death

A 26-year-old Tulsa man is dead after a dispute led to a stabbing homicide overnight in Tulsa.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 26-year-old Tulsa man is dead after a dispute led to a stabbing homicide overnight in Tulsa.

The suspect, 31-year-old Rosendo Gutierrez, was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Robert Rohloff said the report of a stabbing came in a 1 a.m. Saturday.

Two men got into an argument outside a residence in the 1300 block of South 122nd East Avenue. Police say the suspect and victim were living together with Gutierrez's parents.

The argument became physical and moved inside the house where police believe Gutierrez stabbed the victim in the chest several times.

During the scuffle, the suspect's father told police he heard Gutierrez say to the victim "you better stop or I will kill you."

The stabbing victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The suspect is in custody.
