TULSA, Oklahoma -- Firefighters still don't know what caused a fire that destroyed two south Tulsa homes Sunday.

Investigators ruled the fire "undetermined" at this time.

Tulsa fire crews responded to the 4200 block of 85th Street South just after 11 p.m.

Two homes were destroyed and numerous neighboring structures were damaged as strong winds fanned flames and smoke.

Some neighbors resorted to using garden hoses to protect their homes.

It took firefighters an hour and a half to get all the fires under control.
