TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police arrested a man in the city's latest homicide.
Gary Phenix, 47, was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of first degree murder.
Officers think he killed a man outside his Pomeroy Park Apartment near 71st and Lewis, then drug the man's body into the backseat of a car in the parking lot.
Residents noticed the man slouched over in a car Sunday morning, but thought he was just asleep. When he hadn't moved by afternoon, they got suspicious and called the cops.
Police say the victim appeared to have suffered several blows to the head. Police say the victim was in his mid-30s, but have not released a name yet.
