OSAGE COUNTY, Oklahoma -- One man is arrested, and authorities are searching for a second man in rural Osage County in connection to an assault on a Sperry police officer.
The manhunt began when Tulsa County Sheriff Deputies were serving a warrant on the assault case to a Sperry man. The suspect spotted the deputies and fled in a Jeep with another man.
The suspects led deputies on a high speed chase which ended near 88th Street North and 52nd West Avenue in Osage County.
The two men bailed from the Jeep and ran off into an adjacent wooded area. One of the suspects was apprehended, but the other man is still on the loose in the area.
Tulsa County Deputies along with Sperry police and Osage County Sheriff Deputies are assisting in the search.
