News On 6 Anchors Help Raise Money For Oklahoma Families In Need

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma held its largest fundraiser of the year Tuesday night.

News On 6 anchors Lori Fullbright and Craig Day were the emcees for the event, held at Tulsa's Renaissance Hotel.

The event featured an auction, with great items up for bids, including rooftop seats at Wrigley Field, a wine adventure and Carrie Underwood memorabilia.

The event raised $162,000 dollars for the food bank; $17,000 of that was donations that will go specifically towards the Kids Backpack program, where children who might go hungry are given backpacks with food inside to get them through weekends and school breaks.

The goal was $130,000, so Oklahomans went well above and beyond.
