TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police and Tulsa Public School Police did not find a weapon after stopping a school bus headed to Memorial High School Monday morning after getting a report that a student was carrying a handgun.
The bus was stopped on Hudson near 51st Street.
Students on the bus were taken off one at a time as officers searched backpacks and purses.
Police say they received a phone tip that a student had flashed a gun before getting on the bus this morning.
After searching everyone on the bus police said the student in question had never gotten on the bus and was not at the school.
