TULSA, Oklahoma -- You may want to throw those heavy winter coats in the closet this week. Temperatures are expected to reach the 70s Tuesday and the mid 70s by Wednesday.
"The upper air flow will be zonal for the next few days. This means no major storm systems will be moving into the area until the flow buckles," said News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone.

Crone says the chance of thunderstorm activity increases towards the end of the week with cooler temperatures possible Saturday.
The severe weather season has already started with a few tornado reports Sunday across extreme northern OK and southern Kansas.
