TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 28-year-old Tulsa man is out on bond from the Tulsa County jail on five charges of possession of child pornography and one charge of violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
According to a news release from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation, John West was one of six people arrested on February 24, 2011.
The OSBI says West's arrest happened after an undercover investigation in cooperation with Guthrie and Tulsa Police.
In court documents, an OSBI agent said he downloaded child pornography several times between January 10, 2011 and February 24, 2011 from a computer owned by West.
During his arrest in the 300 block of South 191st East Avenue, authorities also seized West's computer.
Documents say the OSBI found "over 600 files of names consistent with child pornography" on West's computer.
Others arrested included 36-year-old Nathan Hoxsie of Perkins, 37-year-old Christopher Brown and 47-year-old Gilbert Limon of Yukon and two unidentified juveniles.
