TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police officers were involved in a high-speed chase early Thursday morning through midtown Tulsa.
Police were called to the Normandy Apartments on reports of a man trying to break into cars.
Residents pointed the man out to officers but when they approach him he jumped into a minivan and took off north on Sheridan.
Authorities followed the van as it turned onto 15th Street and then when it turned into a neighborhood.
The chase ended at a dead end at 19th and 74th East Avenue.
The man got out and jumped several privacy fences, escaping from police.
At last check, Tulsa Police had not found the man.
