TULSA, Oklahoma -- More than 50 flights in and out of Tulsa were canceled Tuesday and early Wednesday at Tulsa International Airport and spokeswoman Alexis Higgins says they resumed flights at noon on Wednesday.
Higgins said Southwest Airlines and American Airlines are planning to operate flights Wednesday, but all other carriers have canceled flights until Thursday.
Travelers are urged to confirm the status of their flight before leaving for the airport.

Alexis Higgins said access to the airport is still extremely difficult.
One lane of state Highway 11 has been plowed, however the entrance and exit ramps to TIA are difficult to navigate.
Higgins says Memorial Drive is probably the best access to the airport terminal.
She adds that although the airport terminal is open, limited services are available to airport guests.
