TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting early Friday morning that broke a window at QuikTrip store and sent a man to a hospital.
Officers say a vehicle with five people in it was going east on 46th Street North when someone in another vehicle opened fire at it.
After the car crashed into a utility pole, two of the five people in the car ran away while the other three ran to a nearby QuikTrip at 4545 North Lewis.
The gunfire continued with one of the bullets shattering a window at QuikTrip and striking a beer cooler inside.
No one inside the store was hurt.
Officers later received a call about a man with a gunshot wound turning up a Tulsa hospital. Police believe he was involved in the incident.
Police say he is expected to survive his injuries.
