JENKS, Oklahoma -- It's all about students, sharks and the symphony at the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks. Last year's "Symphony by the Sea" was so popular; it's back this year with even more chances to catch it.
The Aquarium says it's really a two-in-one field trip opportunity. Kids learn about classical music and get a lesson in science.
"For a lot of these students, they're never seen a cello up close or really seen a shark this close to their eyes. So, they get to do both," said Teri Bowers, Oklahoma Aquarium Director.
Wednesday's show was just a rehearsal. There are eight "Symphony by the Sea" shows next month.
Teachers interested in scheduling a field trip can make reservations online at the Oklahoma Aquarium website. It's important to act quickly as there's a limited amount of scholarship funding.
