Saint Francis Children's Hospital Patients, Parents Given Special Treat From Blue Bell

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Ask any kid and they'll probably tell you, it's never too cold for ice cream.

About 500 patients, parents, and staff at Saint Francis Children's Hospital enjoyed the sweet treat Tuesday, thanks to Blue Bell.

The company is holding its annual sales meeting in Tulsa this year and wanted to do something special while they were in town.

Managers hoped the ice cream party would go a long way in warming spirits.

"What's more fun than ice cream?" said Michael Blount, Blue Bell Tulsa Sales Manager. "I mean it's, the kids love it, the adults love it, it's a lot of fun to see smiles on these kid's faces."

Blue Bell is also donating $2,000 to the hospital.
