Tulsa Police: Purse Snatcher Nabbed Following Foot Chase

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man was arrested for stealing a woman's purse at a Tulsa Walmart store in the 200 block of South Memorial Monday evening.

Tulsa Police say 20-year-old Terrance Taylor was apprehended after a short foot chase in the 600 block of South 102nd East Avenue.

The victim told officers, Taylor rushed her, knocked her down and then dragged her about 20 feet before he was able to get the victim's purse and run away.

After his arrest, police officers recovered several items taken from the purse.

Taylor was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of first degree robbery and public intoxication.
