WESTVILLE, Oklahoma -- Minutes before a severe thunderstorm moved out of Adair County in far eastern Oklahoma Friday morning into northwest Arkansas, it blew through Westville.
After it crossed the state line, the storm turned deadly, when a tornado touched down in the community of Cincinnati, Arkansas.
News On 6 found at least one outbuilding and several other small structures damaged by the storm as it blew through.
Rural electric cooperative crews were seen from SkyNews 6, repairing the broken power poles and restringing power lines that were torn down in the storm.
Officials with Ozark Electric Cooperative say restoration efforts continue as only about 1,000 Ozarks Electric members remain without service.
Ozarks Electric crews as well as four contract crews were called out to rebuild parts of the distribution system that had been damaged.
