TULSA, Oklahoma – An employee with the Tulsa Public Works Department was fired from his job Monday after he was arrested for stealing metal.
Terrance Reed, a contract employee with the city's Public Works Department, was arrested Sunday night. Reed was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on one complaint of second degree burglary and one complaint of possession of burglary tools.
According to an arrest report, Reed and another man cut a hole in a fence and were loading the stolen metal into a vehicle when officers spotted them.
The suspects took off on foot, but were captured a short time later. Officers recovered the stolen metal.
In addition to Reed, police also arrested Kyrrhl Henderson. He also was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on one complaint of second degree burglary and one complaint of possession of burglary tools.
Both Reed and Henderson have been released from jail.
