TULSA, Oklahoma -- Thanks to the help of several citizens, an armed robbery suspect was arrested by Tulsa Police early Monday morning.
Police say at about 1:57 a.m., officers dispatched to an armed robbery in progress at the IHOP located at 7123 South Lewis.
When officers arrived they found several citizens had wrestled 23-year-old Taylor Evans to the ground and were holding him for police. Police say Evans was armed with a .45 cal hand gun which it turned out was not loaded.
