Suspended Bartlesville Teacher Faces New Charges

The Washington County District Attorney's Office has filed three more charges against a Bartlesville school teacher accused of having sex with one of his students.

BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- The Washington County District Attorney's Office has filed three more charges against a Bartlesville school teacher accused of having sex with one of his students.

The new charges of oral sodomy, rape by instrumentation and 2nd-degree rape have been added to the original charge of forcible sodomy against Jeffrey Wade.

Wade, who taught computer applications at Bartlesville Mid-High School, was charged in early November in connection to an incident which the sheriff's office say occurred on the evening of November 4, 2010.

He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday on the new charges. 

The Bartlesville School Board has scheduled a dismissal hearing for Wade for January 13, 2011 at 5 p.m.
