PORT OF CATOOSA, Oklahoma -- A train locomotive at the Port of Catoosa derailed Monday afternoon.
Bob Portiss with the Port of Catoosa says a switch may have failed causing part of the cars to go the opposite direction of the engine.
The back wheels of the locomotive broke after the derailment. No rail cars were impacted.
Portiss says the South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad will be bringing in a crane to lift the locomotive so crews can repair the damage.
No delays are expected and the track should be operational by Tuesday.
There were no injuries.
