Tulsa's BOK Center Nominated For 'Arena Of The Year'

TULSA, Oklahoma – For the third year in a row, Tulsa's BOK Center has been nominated for the Arena Of the Year award by Pollstar, BOK Center officials said Tuesday.

Six other venues across the country are also nominated for the award.

• Air Canada Centre- Toronto, ON
• Bridgestone Arena - Nashville, TN
• HP Pavilion - San Jose, CA
• Madison Square Garden Arena - New York, NY
• Staples Center - Los Angeles, CA
• Xcel Energy Center - St. Paul, MN

"This is an amazing accomplishment for an arena in Tulsa, Oklahoma to be competing with such world renowned venues," said BOK Center General Manager John Bolton. "This recognition from the industry stems from our continued success thanks to the support of Tulsa and the surrounding area."

The winner will be announced February 5, 2011 at the annual Pollstar awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
