Bulldozer Accident Takes The Life Of A Chelsea Resident

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 45-year-old Chelsea man died when a bulldozer he was working on slipped into gear and ran over him.

VINITA, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 45-year-old Chelsea man died when a bulldozer he was working on slipped into gear and ran over him.

The accident happened on private property seven miles north and one mile east of Vinita in Craig County sometime between 7 a.m. and Noon on Monday.

Jeffrey Dismon's body was not discovered until 6:48 p.m. Monday.

OHP troopers say Dismon appeared to be performing maintenance on the bulldozer when it slipped into gear and he fell into the path of the machine.

Dismon was pronounced dead at the scene.
