TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man and woman sitting on a front porch were shot overnight Saturday in north Tulsa. Both were wounded, the man critically.

Corporal August Terbrock with the Tulsa Police Department said a group of people were socializing on a porch at about 2:15 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Harvard when a man walked up and opened fire. The group scattered, but two people were shot.

One man, thought to be in his early 20s, was wounded in the upper torso. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital in critical condition, Terbrock said. A young woman, in her early 20s, was shot in arm and transported to a local hospital. Her wound was not considered life threatening.

Tulsa police say they believe the suspect left the scene in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle, make and model unknown. His weapon was described as a nickel plated, semi automatic pistol.
