Cushing Teen Critically Injured In ATV Accident

Nineteen-year-old Randall Wilson is in critical condition after being struck by a John Deer Gator ATV, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

LINCOLN COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A 19-year-old Cushing man is in critical condition after an accident with a John Deere Gator ATV Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers say Randall Wilson was running alongside the ATV trying to get back on when he lost his footing and was struck by the vehicle.

He sustained head injuries in the accident, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The driver of the ATV, 20-year-old James Wood of Cushing was uninjured, as was a 16-year-old passenger.

The accident took place on 760 Road near 7570 Road in Lincoln County at about 2:30 p.m.

The driver's condition at the time of the accident is listed as apparently normal. Pedestrian action is listed as the cause of the accident.
