TULSA, Oklahoma -- The City of Tulsa has once again changed contractors for the recycling program, after months of complaints about the new one. The TARE board voted Thursday to accept a deal between the two contractors, with the new contract being assigned to the old contractor.

In July, RR Waste Solutions took over the curbside recycling program and immediately city residents started complaining about missed pickups. Thursday's vote gives the job to Tulsa Refuse, which had the contract before.
The City of Tulsa offers curbside recycling for an extra monthly fee as part of the trash service.
