Production Begins On 'The Lamp,' Filmed On Location In Green Country

GLENPOOL, Oklahoma -- Trost Moving Pictures has started filming another family movie in Green Country. "The Lamp" is being filmed at Glenpool's Morris Park on Thursday.

"The Lamp" is described as a powerful story of hope and overcoming loss after a couple loses their only child. The film explores the relationship between hope, belief and reality. It is based on the book by author Jim Stovall.

The screenplay was written by director Tracy Trost.

"The Lamp" will star Jason London, Meredith Salenger, L. Scott Caldwell, Sarah Brown, Cameron ten Napel, with Muse Watson and Louis Gossett, Jr.

Director Tracy Trost and Trost Moving Pictures premiered "A Christmas Snow" just last week in Tulsa. The company says it is putting "family" back into movies.
