TULSA, Oklahoma -- More than a month has passed since a fire destroyed Tulsa's Admiral Twin Drive-In.

Supporters gathered Sunday for a benefit concert, car show and festival at the Rose Bowl in Tulsa and a special showing of two classic movies in western New York state.

In Tulsa, classic cars, professional wrestling and both an indoor and an outdoor stage provided plenty to see.

"I've seen a lot of good bands, a lot of good people and a lot of good people that just want to help out," said Musician Kristen Nicole.

The owners say they've now raised more than $24,000 overall to help rebuild the landmark.

Meanwhile in New York state, Tulsa's Admiral Twin Drive-in Theater got some long-distance help from another drive-in theatre.

The Transit Drive-In in Lockport, New York held a fundraiser for the Admiral Twin.

Transit Drive-In owner Rick Cohen says they raised $1,827 for the Admiral Twin rebuilding effort Friday and Saturday.

The Transit Drive-In showed the movies "The Outsiders" and "Dirty Dancing."

Organizers in Tulsa are putting together another benefit concert on October 16th.

Eleven bands will take the stage where the enormous outdoor screen used to stand.

There will also be classic cars, inflatables for the kids and festival food.
