TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are searching for a driver who crashed his girlfriend's car and then took off early Saturday morning.
It happened just off the Broken Arrow Expressway at the Harvard exit just after 2 a.m.
Police say the driver was going westbound on the BA when he lost control as he came onto the Harvard off ramp.
The small Chevrolet car then swerved off into the grass, flipped and came to a rest in the median.
The driver was nowhere to be found when police arrived.
"The gentleman lost control of the vehicle, crawled out and fled the scene at this time," said Officer Shawn Downie.
Police say after the crash, the man called his girlfriend and told her what happened.
Tulsa Police believe the man may have been worried about an outstanding warrant.
