MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA -- Muskogee Police arrested a man they say shot his girlfriend at an Arby's Restaurant in Muskogee Tuesday afternoon.
It happened about 3 p.m. at the Arby's on U.S. Highway 69 in Muskogee.
Muskogee Police said 24-year-old Kenneth Lynn Nickel confronted his girlfriend, who is an employee at the restaurant, and held a gun to her head. Police said he then shot the woman in the shoulder area.
Nickel took off, but officers pulled him over and arrested him in Wagoner County a short time later. Police said he still had the gun in his belt. He is being charged with attempted murder.
The woman, identified as 30-year-old Jamie Harbison, was taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.
