WYANDOTTE, OKLAHOMA -- The family of a Wyandotte student who died when she fell off a piece of playground equipment in August has hired an attorney who specializes in wrongful death lawsuits.

Alyssa Avila, 9, passed away August 19th, 2010 after falling off an X-Wave.  The medical examiner said there were no clear signs of trauma and ruled Avila's death as undetermined.

Her death prompted several Oklahoma schools to stop using their X-Wave equipment.
