OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA -- Supporters of an Oklahoma native facing a military trial rallied in California Thursday night.

Private First Class Bradley Manning is charged with leaking classified military video showing a U.S. helicopter attack that killed a news crew.  He's also suspected of giving the web site, WikiLeaks, thousands secret military documents.

Manning is currently being held in a military jail in Virginia.

Supporters rallied in Oakland for the first of what they're calling "Days of Action."

There are events scheduled coast to coast through the weekend, including one in Oklahoma City on Friday. Supporters are calling for Manning's release.
