TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Another Tulsa hotel clerk was robbed and hit in the head late Monday night in the 2300 block of West Cameron.
This latest robbery comes a day after two other Tulsa hotels on Skelly Drive were targeted by armed robbers.
Tulsa Police say this robbery occurred at 10:35 p.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn Express.
Police say at least two or three men went in the lobby of the hotel with handguns.
Police say one of the men pistol whipped the clerk and another man in the motel's lobby. The suspects then took the cash drawer and ran out the front door.
Police say the clerk and the other victim were taken to Tulsa hospitals with what they say were non-life threatening injuries.
About an hour later, Tulsa police receive a call about an armed robbery at a Phillips 66 gas station at 31st and Yale.
The clerk told officers she was outside when two men motioned her back into the store. That is when one of the suspects knocked her to the ground and shoved her into the back room.
Police say the suspects took cash from the store's register then ran south on Yale.
The store's clerk was not seriously hurt.
Police say the two suspects are described as males, 5'5"-5'10", 200-250 lbs. and mid 30s. One had braided hair and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. The other suspect was wearing a red hooded jacket with brown work boots.
Police say these two robberies and the two robberies that occurred late Sunday night could be the same suspects.
