TULSA, OKLAHOMA – A court hearing set for Friday afternoon for Tausha Borland who is charged with first-degree manslaughter in the death of two bicyclists was pushed back to Monday.
Borland's trial on the charges is scheduled to begin Monday. Her attorney suggested her case may be "disposed" before the trial is set to start in Tulsa County District Court.
Attorney Allen Smallwood told the News On 6 on Thursday that Tausha Borland "might" enter a plea.
Borland also faces charges of leaving the scene of a fatality accident and driving under the influence of alcohol.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Tausha Dion Borland was driving under the influence of alcohol when she struck and killed Christa Voss and Matthew Edmonds near Sand Springs on June 9, 2009. A third bicyclist survived the incident.
