BARTLESVILLE, OKLAHOMA – A man charged with arson in connection with a 2009 building fire in downtown Bartlesville returned to Oklahoma Thursday night.

Robert Boyce, 49, faces numerous arson related charges in connection with a fire that destroyed the May Brothers building in Bartlesville in August 2009. He was arrested in Florida in May and was brought back to Oklahoma after waiving his rights during an extradition hearing.

Boyce faces charges of second degree arson, conspiracy and manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance and false claim for insurance. He was the owner of a restaurant that was housed in the May Brothers building.
