Tulsa Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Breaking Into Former Roommate's Home

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A Tulsa resident says she returned home early Friday to find her former roommate burglarizing her home.

Tulsa Police were called at 2:08 a.m. to the victim's home in the 2700 block of East 44th Street North.

The woman told police officers, 25-year-old Antwon Brown produced a pistol and robbed her of her purse before running out the front door.

Brown got into his vehicle and left at which time the victim got into her vehicle and began following Brown. He reportedly fired one shot at her, causing her to stop chasing him.

A short time later, Tulsa Police located Antwon Brown at a home in the 2400 block of North Yorktown Avenue where he was taken into custody.

Police say he had three guns as well as marijuana and crack cocaine when they arrested him.

While he was being questioned, officers learned Brown had also committed a robbery in the 2100 block of South Sheridan Thursday, August 19, 2010.

He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a variety of complaints including 2nd degree burglary, armed robbery and possession of marijuana.
