TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A public meeting to discuss streetscape concepts for Route 66 in west Tulsa is scheduled for Tuesday, August 24, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the north building of Trinity Baptist Church.

The church is located at 1703 West 41st Street.

Officials say this meeting will focus on streetscape for Southwest Boulevard between 27th West Avenue and 33rd West Avenue.

The public is welcome, and comments are encouraged.

The project will include bronze artwork at the 27th West Avenue and Southwest Boulevard triangle, to commemorate the historic Sue Bland Oil Well.

Design consultants PSA Dewberry and Howell Vancuren will give a presentation at the beginning of the meeting.
