Grand Reopening Held For Humane Society Of Owasso

OWASSO, OK -- The Humane Society of Tulsa wants to help homeless pets in Owasso.

The Tulsa chapter held a grand reopening for its sister location in Owasso Saturday, August 14. Officials say they hope the new center will help with overcrowding in the city's other shelters. 

The event included door prizes, free pet food, microchipping and, of course, adoptions.

"There's really no reason to go out and buy a dog when you can find pure bred, little poodles or all kinds of animals that are here that will love you just as much as if you paid tons of money for them," said Kiley Roberson, Humane Society.

The Humane Society of Owasso is located at 8811 B.N.W. Owasso Expressway.
