RAMONA, OK -- The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is expecting to reopen a closed section of U.S. Highway 75 near Ramona in Washington County on Saturday.
A section of the road in the northbound lanes of the highway buckled last weekend, causing ODOT crews to fix nine-inches of concrete that had forced cars to drive on the shoulder.

Officials cited temperatures in the 100 degree range with causing the roadway to buckle.
ODOT spokesperson Brenda Perry says if all goes as planned, crews are expected to reopen both northbound lanes Saturday morning.
