TULSA, OK -- It's the newest place to make a splash in Tulsa.
The new and improved Chamberlain Park water playground in North Tulsa held its grand opening Thursday.
It replaces an old swimming pool that was too expensive to keep up. The new water playground is cheaper to operate and stays open longer during the day.
Tulsa Parks used money from the 2001 and 2006 sales tax and Vision 2025 to for the renovation.
Other water playgrounds are being built at Whiteside and Owen Parks.
