Tulsa Police Officer Involved In Car Crash On U.S. Highway 75

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa Police Officer was involved in a car crash with another vehicle Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. in the construction zone on the northbound lanes of U.S.Highway 75 near 61st Street.

Police at the scene say it appears the officer didn't stop for traffic and hit another car from behind.

EMSA reports one patient was transported from the scene in fair condition.

The accident is under investigation.
