TULSA, OK -- Oklahoma's Centennial Botanical Garden is growing with a million dollar grant from the federal government.
It's part of a package that was made possible by a federal disaster declaration from flooding in Osage County. INCOG went after the money, which will be used for infrastructure improvements to support the garden.
The first landscaping project is nearly finished. It includes 300 ornamental and shade trees and walking paths. Ultimately the garden will have 15 theme gardens and 60 specialty gardens.
