OPEA: Lawmakers Should Hold Special Session

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma Public Employees Association is calling for Oklahoma lawmakers to hold a special session.

They want state lawmakers to deal with a funding crisis at the Department of Corrections.

The OPEA's executive director says furloughs, funding cuts, and overcrowded prisons are creating a dangerous situation for guards and other staff.
