UNDATED -- An Owasso man has proven once again he's a top gun.

Mike Seeklander finished second in the Production Division at the 2010 USPSA Area 1 Championship in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Seekland is ranked a grandmaster.

He led the field of 60 shooters for 3 of the 11 stages before falling to second behind the winner, Mike Hughes, who is from Washington.

Seeklander heads up the United States Shooting Academy and teaches officers, agents, and citizens the critical skills of shooting decisions in all types of situations.

He was recently on a show on the History Channel called 'Top Shot'.
