ROGERS COUNTY, OK -- Rogers County Sheriff's Office is investigating what it believes is a death of natural causes after the body of an elderly man was found in his car.
Sheriff Scott Walton said his deputies responded to a call at about 4:45 a.m. Thursday after a homeowner came out of his house near the Limestone area of Rogers County and found the man's body.
Walton said the home sits way back from the main road, and the elderly man may have mistaken the driveway for a road when he turned in. The car was stuck on the driveway's high center median. It's located off of Highway 20 northeast of Owasso.
There was no sign of foul play, and the Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident as an unattended death. The man's body has been sent to the medical examiner's office.
