Two Pedestrians Hit By Car In Tulsa Walmart Parking Lot

TULSA, OK -- An 11-year-old girl and her father were taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in a Walmart parking lot, according to police.

It happened at about 10:45 Sunday night at Admiral and Memorial. 

A red car crashed into the post of a sign in front of the Walmart entrance. Officers say the driver then hit both victims, but that their injuries are not life threatening.

"We do have reports from witnesses, said they had a vehicle that was driving fast and kind of wildly throughout the parking lot prior to striking both of the subjects," said Captain Brett Bailey, Tulsa Police.

Officers arrested Brian Isaak. He's currently in the Tulsa County jail. Police say they do not believe alcohol or drugs played any role in the accident.

The 32-year-old man is in fair condition and the girl is in serious condition, according to EMSA.
