TULSA, OK -- Several candidates for Tulsa County offices want their old jobs back.
Former Tulsa County Commissioner Wilbert Collins is running again for the 1st District, an election he lost last time to now incumbent John Smaligo. Smaligo, a Republican is running for a second term. Tracey Wilson, a Republican, and Steve Gallo, a Democrat, also filed for the post.
Former County Assessor Cheryl Clay is running against incumbent Ken Yazel. Both are Republicans and the winner of that race will face Democrat Nancy Bolzle.
A former city official has filed for County office. Long time City Auditor Phil Wood is running as a Democrat for County Treasurer against incumbent Dennis Semler and Ruth Hartje, both Republicans.
Tulsa City Council Attorney Drew Rees has filed to run for County Commissioner against incumbent Fred Perry and Michael Masters. All three of the District 3 candidates are Republicans.
Wednesday was the final day to file for the election.
The Tulsa County primary election will be held July 27th.
