OKLAHOMA CITY -- Jenks High School football coach Allan Trimble has been reinstated and his suspension ended Tuesday.
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association's board of directors unanimously approved the reinstatement of Trimble.
Trimble, who has guided the Trojans to nine Class 6A championships during his tenure, was suspended by the Jenks district in October after a report found those within the football program violated state rules against recruiting. The OSSAA board later extended that suspension indefinitely.
Jenks assistant football coach David Alexander and a student athlete identified only as Jenks' "Student #1" were also approved for reinstatement.

Later the same month, Tulsa Public Schools suspended former Booker T. Washington football coach Antwain Jimmerson indefinitely and removed him as Washington's athletic director after an investigation revealed six ineligible players.
He resigned as the Hornets' coach in January.
Jimmerson was not present at the meeting and the vote for his reinstatement was tabled.
