TULSA, OK -- Some Green Country residents took advantage of the sunshine Saturday to clean up a West Tulsa cemetery.

A PSO worker answered Mayor Dewey Bartlett's call for mowing help. Tony Moore called co-workers and spread the word through a radio station. And, he's not even a Tulsa resident.

Moore says you don't have to live in Tulsa to lend a hand.

"Once you get the word out, it's amazing how many people really want to help. The ones you hear the most about are the ones who don't like what's going on, and you don't hear about the ones who step up and serve," said Moore.

The volunteers have agreed to keep mowing Oaklawn Cemetery every other week for the rest of the summer.
